Steering Rack Warranty Policy
Article 1: Definition of Warranty Period and Evidence of Defects
Warranty Standard: The warranty period for the products sold by our company is 1 year (calculated based on service time). The warranty period shall be calculated from the date when the end user first installs and uses the product.
Activation Confirmation: For the convenience of calculating the warranty period, the distributor shall provide the sales documents at the time of shipment (such as invoice list, delivery order, sales record, installation video, etc.). If the valid activation certificate cannot be provided, the warranty period shall be deemed as 13 months from the date of shipment by default.
Evidence of Defects: Within the warranty period, if the distributor finds that the product may have quality defects, it shall complete the inspection and appraisal with professional inspection tools as soon as possible. Clear video evidence (including the product’s panoramic view, nameplate, factory mark and fault details) shall be provided and sent to the after-sales department of the Chinese factory for filing.
Article 2: After-sales Application and Classified Processing
The distributor shall submit a written application based on the appraisal result and take the initiative to check whether the product is within the 1-year warranty period:
Repairable: Specify the official numbers and quantities of the faulty parts and required spare parts, and apply for reissuance of spare parts.
Unrepairable: Specify the specific model of the product and a detailed fault description (it is recommended to attach a preliminary inspection and analysis report), and apply for the replacement of the whole machine.
Overdue Reporting: If the product has exceeded the 1-year service warranty period, the factory can provide a paid maintenance or spare parts supply plan, and the specific costs shall be calculated separately.
Article 3: Spare Parts Issuance and Maintenance Support
The Chinese factory shall complete the review (including the verification of the warranty period) within 24 hours upon receipt of the application. If the application is confirmed to be true, the required spare parts shall be issued free of charge, and the necessary maintenance guidance documents can be provided as required.
Article 4: Replacement of the Whole Machine and Disposal of Defective Parts
Reissuance: For the products confirmed to be unrepairable and still within the 1-year warranty period, the factory will reissue qualified products of the same specification free of charge.
Return: The distributor shall properly keep the unrepairable defective products, and return them to the designated address in accordance with the requirements of the Chinese factory when a certain quantity is reached.
Special Case: If the products cannot be returned due to special reasons (such as high freight, failure to clear customs at the destination port, etc.), both parties may negotiate the cost or disposal plan, such as adopting the on-site destruction mode: the distributor shall destroy the defective products under the video supervision of the factory and provide complete destruction video materials as the write-off voucher.
